Senjukaku, Yamanouchi (Nagano)

I opted for both Western and Japanese breakfasts during my stay, and they were beautifully presented and flavorful. The ingredients varied each day, which kept meals exciting. The highlight was the shimeji mushrooms cooked with butter and shoyu-they were simply fantastic!

The onsen facilities were a dream! I especially loved the outdoor onsen surrounded by nature. It was pristine and offered a serene atmosphere to unwind after a long day. Additionally, they provided boots for visiting the snow monkey park, which was a thoughtful touch.

I stayed in a quadruple family room that was very spacious, featuring a private bath and toilet. The tatami area was a lovely addition, while the balcony provided stunning views of the nearby mountains. The room was spotless and well-appointed, making my stay incredibly comfortable.

The futons provided the best night's sleep I've had in months! They were incredibly comfortable, and the whole ambiance of the room made me feel right at home. I also appreciated how everything was well-kept and clean, enhancing my overall relaxation.
